201 weeks ago Wayne and Paul kicked off their dinky little podcast, dropping themselves in among the billion other shows that feature a couple of guys reviewing what they've watched. There was one week where an Ep failed to drop due to ill health, but otherwise, the lads have week in and week out continued to review things they've watched and count down topics relating to film and (very occasionally) television. And somehow they've made it here: Episode 200.
They might still be just another film review show among countless others, but now they have a loyal group of listeners, and it is to YOU that this Ep is dedicated. Every single one of you who has ever downloaded and listened to an Ep of the show. Because this one is all about YOUR Top 20 favourite films of all time!
Having collated a list of 385 films from 81 listeners, Paul and Wayne reveal your Top 20 amid the usual banter, bad language, and questionable euphemisms you've come to expect. AND, to mark this special occasion, there's even a one-off update to the Soundboard which should please long-term fans.

It's an often ugly fight between two opposing camps - the DC fan base versus the Marvel fan base. Both groups are passionate, proud fans and neither are willing to acknowledge that class can exist on the other side of that comic book (film) divide. So this week Paul and Wayne are bravely stepping between the two groups to determine, once and for all, beyond all shadow of a doubt, which battery of superhero-related films is superior to the other!
So don your tights, put on your masks and limber up those super powers, because it's time to get heroic with a pair of super-geeky types who are putting it all on the line as The Countdown continues ...

Happy New Year! It's 2019 and that means it's time for the BIGGEST show of the year, as Wayne and Paul this week celebrate the very best films of 2018! As such, it may not be surprising that this one starts out as a love-fest between the boys, but rest assured, it all goes off the rails late in the piece. Who has an indie darling high on their list? And who counters with a comedy so high that even the producers of the film got an automatic nosebleed when it was revealed?
Then there's the explanation for why Wayne watches less TV than he ought to, a competition which Paul has gotten himself embroiled in, and one of the funniest series of bloopers to close out of an Ep in quite some time.

In the first stand alone feature review for the show, Paul and Wayne dive into the deep seas to review Aquaman, the latest film in the DCEU, and one which seems to be dividing audiences. Wayne is most certainly surprised by Paul's take on the film, but who will give the film a higher rating overall? PLUS: find out who used to love Aquaman more than all the other Superfriends as a kid!?

A new era of The Countdown kicks off with this streamlined version of the show as the boys go to town naming and shaming the very WORST theatrically released 2018 films. (Well, this is what Paul does; Wayne does it, eh, mostly). No studio is spared, no once great director sacred, as Wayne starts with a barb aimed right at Paul's cinematic blind spot, while Paul saves his ire for films Wayne inexplicably defends for higher in his list.
So it's more of the banter that you're used to, but without having to worry about being spoiled by any feature review, which will now drop Saturdays Australian time.
