The NO swearing Ep is back this week as the boys follow up their popular PG-13 show with a countdown of the Top 10 G-Rated Films. You might be surprised what films got away with a G rating (as well as those which somehow were elevated into PG territory), but you won;t be surprised to learn that Wayne and Paul are unable to keep their potty-mouths completely stowed. Which is good, because once again, every time they do mess up, it's $1 being donated to charity - a charity that the fans of the show will nominate in the Facebook Listener Community!

But that's not all! The boys expose an IMDB.com error which might the end of the site as we know it!? (That's hyperbole and clear clickbait. It means nothing of the sort, but it was fun to write.)

Terminator: Dark Fate review

The sixth film in the Terminator universe is upon us and Paul and Wayne are front and centre to determine whether it's worth your time! Dark Fate is dying at the box office, and the reviews are decidedly mixed, so it may not be a surprise that the lads are a bit split on this one ... even if their final scores may not be that far apart.

 

Has James Cameron returned to restore the franchise to its former glory? Or is this the final ripping of the power core from the carcass of the Terminator films?

WORST 10 TV Series Finales

Have you ever been so thoroughly angry, upset or just plain disappointed at the finale of a beloved television series that it retroactively sullied your view of said show? Well Paul and Wayne have and that's why they're this week turning their attention to television and counting down the ten WORST series finales of all time! Dramas, comedies, sci-fi shows, and even a couple of prestige efforts, are all named and shamed as the boys get their angry pants on and go to town on shows that many love.

 

Such is the passion in this topic that good friend of the podcast, B-Dizzle from the We Watched a Thing podcast, leapt to the defence of one such polarising show, recording his thoughts for all to take on board. Ready or Not, here The Countdown comes! This week, the boys are talking the low-budget comedy-horror which the rest of the world got to see months ago, but which only dropped in Australia recently (sigh). Will Wayne hate this film because it's a horror? Or will the comedic stylings of it garner his interest? Top 10 Most Quotable Movies

This week the boys have something special in store for you as they get their impressions on in counting down the Top 10 Most Quotable Movies. It was almost 37 degrees (near on 98 Fahrenheit) at the time of recording (in October!), and the heat must have been getting to the lads, because Paul somehow gets his list mixed up, while Wayne claims he had to cut 60 films from his initial "short" list of 70, so as you can imagine, things go to seed very, very quickly. And fair to say, probably never recover.

Wayne claims there will be zero crossovers, but is he right? And who manages to steal considerable thunder from the other? (Which now that it's framed that way, makes the first question kind of redundant). Learn the answers to these questions and more as The Countdown continues ...

Top 10 Horror Comedies

It's Halloween time! And that means it's time to force Wayne out of his comfort zone to talk about horror movies. Well, horror comedies, to be more specific, though Paul feels he deserves praise for even getting that much out of his scaredy-cat co-host.

 

So it's a topic near and dear to Pauls' heart, which may explain why, for the first time in the history of the show, THIS is the Episode in which Paul throws down his head phones at one of Wayne's calls and storms out of the studio!

Gemini Man review

Will Smith is back in his latest action-thriller, Gemini Man. Director Ang Lee has opted for high frame rates and 3D+ - perhaps in an effort to mask the de-aging technology which is present through much of this film - but seems to have forgotten the need for a decent script and captivating characters when making this one. Which prompts Wayne and Paul to answer the almost-serious question: Is technological advancement in cinema more important than the basics of movie making?

It's Halloween, it's the horror season, and Wayne is not so mysteriously MIA. So to honour the season AND to set up the last part of the year on the show, Paul has recruited Sam from the Movie Reviews in 20 Q's Podcast to countdown the Top 10 Horror Films of the 2010s! 

Sam is a bona fide horror film fan so this is a largely good-natured and agreeable discussion about the very best films that the horror genre has provided to us fans over this last decade. The Top 10 Last 10 format is back for the final time in 2019 as the guys mini-review 20 films they've recently seen but have yet to speak about on the podcast, ranking them from worst to best. The intention then is to act as a bit of a guide for you fine listeners, except Wayne decides to eschew all logic in his ranking system, putting films higher that he scored lower, causing Paul considerable ire in the process...

But what is the film Wayne ranked so highly that Paul cannot get his head around? And has Paul finally found some films to cheer about in 2019? Or does it remain the worst year for film releases (in his humble opinion) since the podcast began?
