Top 10 Video Games of All Time!

So, video games have done pretty well for themselves over the last 40 plus years. And given they've been consumers of games across most platforms and many devices, Wayne and Paul this week decided to take the plunge and countdown their Top 10 favourite video games of all time.

 

From arcade machines to PC straining massive titles, the boys are covering it all! (Well, not all, that would be impossible in a less than 80 minute podcast, but you get what we're driving at.) First person shooters, real time strategies, role playing games, sandbox games and even third person shooters all get a look in this week, while Paul and Wayne have a few laughs, especially in relation to some of the "classic" games on these lists.

 

So boot up, plug your controllers in, and get ready to pwn some n00bs (namely Wayne and Paul), as The Countdown continues ...

Blue Beetle review

The soft launch of the next iteration of the DC Film Universe is finally here in Australia, so the best part of a month after the rest of the world chose to ignore Blue Beetle, Paul and Wayne are front and centre at the cinema to bring you their thoughts.

 

Is there more FAMILY in this film than even Vin Diesel could shake a fist at? How much neon does it take for Wayne to get all hot under the collar? And is Susan Sarandon the worst villain to "grace" the DCEU since whatever the hell Cara Delevingne was doing in Suicide Squad?

The Slashers - a New Podcast! - preview

Something a bit different this week as the Paul and Wayne could not find a single thing to review that they could agree on or had time to see.

 

So Wayne graciously gives Paul the mic to talk about an upcoming side project he has been working on. Accepting an invitation from Binge Movies' Jason to join him in celebrating the Slasher sub-genre of horror films, Paul has been watching dozens of slasher films in preparation.

 

The show will cover the golden era of the Slasher film craze - from 1980 to 1984 - as Jason and Paul take a carefully curated list of Slashers from each year to form their "Blood Pool". From this pool, they'll give several awards each week ... and argue about many of them in the process :D

 

The show will run for just seven episodes and will commence in mid-September, culminating in the final episode's release in time for Halloween 2023.

 

If this sound like your thing, keep your eyes peeled as episode number one will be available very soon. Then once you've listened, hit up Paul and Jason with your reviews and feedback!
