This one is for the ladies!
Having been called out for being too "blokey" with their Countdowns, Paul and Wayne this week respond by welcoming guest host Janelle to educate them in the way of all-things Chick Flick! Of course, they attempt to put together Top 10s of their own, and well, let's just say Wayne accounted reasonably well for himself, but Paul's lists leave much to be desired. Janelle, however, schools the boys with some amazing choices from the days of yesteryear which should melt the heart of all fans of this genre.

Okay, it's time to do a new top 10 chick flicks. This one did not work very well at all. Paul obviously was biased against chick flicks in the first place so didn't put forth much if any effort. Wayne at least gave it a good shot and actually picked a few good ones. But the biggest disappointment was Janelle. I don't really get why you chose her. She was too buttoned-up and straight-laced and even a bit stodgy with her mannerism and choices. She sort of put up with you guys, but barely. And her absolute avoidance of any movie with any form of violence or crudeness or anything remotely like that was kind of off putting and even irritating. There are millions of women out there, myself included, who loves almost all genres of movies and it would help to have a guest host that wasn't so straight laced. I mean, An Affair to Remember is the best chick flick ever?!? That's nuts and kind of insulting. You guys nailed it on a handful of your choices if you put all of your opinions together. But you missed so many incredible chick flicks that I'd was practically tearing my hair out. So, again, consider redoing this one with a tiny bit more effort... And a better guest host. Oh, and the definition of a chick flick is not a movie that makes you cry. OMG, that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Moonstruck didn't make me cry, it made me laugh more than anything else and I would put Moonstruck in my top 10 chick flicks.
