TV & Film

A weekly comedic podcast in which two massive film buffs countdown a topic from 10-1 while throwing shade at the other’s list.

August 21, 2018

Episode 177: The Countdown vs Movie Reviews in 20 Q’s - Top 10 Sword and Sorcery Films / The Meg

Rippling veiny muscles. Unsheathed swords. Tiny loin cloths. These are some of Wayne's regular google searches.
Which works fine for this episode, because this week, the boys are counting down their Top Ten Sword and Sorcery films! And they're getting some help from across the pond, as Sam and Matiu from the Movie Reviews in 20 Q's Podcast join them to talk all things medieval in another show vs show countdown! Hilarity ensues as the two (strikingly similar) podcasting duos go blade to blade - who will win? Only you can decide!
And find out whether The Meg is even remotely worth seeing when the fellers review the new grizzling, stubbly Jason Statham vehicle! It's all here this week as The Countdown continues!

Time Stamps:

Recount: 2:16 - 8:11

The Meg NON-SPOILER Review: 8:11 - 24:52

The Meg SPOILER-FILLED Discussion: 24:52 - 37:17

Top 10 Sword and Sorcery Films: 37:17 - 1:30:53

Pop 10: 1:30:53 -1:34:44
